For Brooke, it wasn’t about the title. It was for Hope’s line to see the light of day again.
Brooke comes to terms with Ridge’s news. She won’t be the co-CEO of Forrester Creations. But the matriarch doesn’t care about titles. She just wants her daughter’s happiness.
Ridge Lets Brooke Down Easily
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) let Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) down easily. He told her that he couldn’t let his daughter step down as co-CEO of Forrester Creations. She’s been a valuable asset at their company.
But Ridge is also aware that Brooke is a valuable asset. He asked Brooke to agree that it’s not right to make a change when it wasn’t necessary. He promised his wife that he would honor her career and legacy in all forms and that she would have a voice at FC.
As much as Ridge would love to run the company with Brooke, he can’t do it right now. Steffy is doing a great job with the company. He can’t choose between the two most important women in his life.
Brooke Uses Her Voice for Hope’s Benefit
Brooke broke down in tears. Ridge assumed that he had made her cry. She admitted that her tears were for him. Surprisingly, Brooke took the news well.
Brooke said she was fine with who she is. She didn’t need a title to prove her value, as she had previously said. Brooke made one final request. She wanted to work with her daughter, too.
Brooke asked Ridge if Hope for the Future could be reactivated. She encouraged him to speak to Steffy on Hope’s (Annika Noelle) behalf. Hope fears that her collection will never see the light of day again.
Will This Affect Hope’s Future?
Meanwhile, Steffy believes that Hope was behind Brooke’s sudden push to be co-CEO. She’s not done speculating on this matter. Steffy doesn’t like being asked to step down from her position.
She’s worked too hard to get where she is. And she won’t let anyone undermine her, not even Hope. As for Brooke, she wants to keep the peace. Brooke wants to stay on Steffy’s good side.
However, this could ultimately affect Hope. This week, Hope’s future at Forrester Creations starts falling apart. Will she finally leave Forrester Creations and go to Logan?
