His name is Colonel Harland Sanders.
He lost his father at age 6. Dropped out of school at 13. Spent his entire life jumping from one job to another — over 100 different jobs in total. He was a farmer, streetcar conductor, railroad worker, lawyer, gas station owner, and more. He failed repeatedly.

At age 40, he finally found something he loved — cooking fried chicken at his small restaurant in Kentucky. He perfected his secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices.
But life hit him hard again. At 65 years old, a new highway bypassed his restaurant. He lost everything. All he had left was a $105 monthly social security check.
Most people would have given up and retired quietly.
Colonel Sanders did the opposite.
He got in his car, traveled across America, and started knocking on restaurant doors. He offered to cook his chicken for owners and asked them to pay him a nickel for every piece sold. He was rejected over 1,000 times.
He didn’t stop.
Today, KFC is one of the largest restaurant chains in the world, with over 25,000 locations in more than 145 countries.

Colonel Sanders didn’t become successful until his late 60s and 70s.
His story is powerful proof that:
It’s never too late to start over. Age is just a number. Your greatest comeback can begin at the lowest point of your life.

No matter how old you are, no matter how many times you’ve failed, no matter how broke or broken you feel right now — your best days can still be ahead of you.
