Liverpool fans are convinced that star man Mohamed Salah has had a hair transplant after he showed off his new look while on international duty with Egypt.
The 31-year-old stunned fans last month when he posted a photo of himself on Instagram without his iconic afro.
Initially, supporters believed the Reds forward was simply opting to change up his look but after he was pictured reporting for international duty, fans have become convinced that Salah has undergone a procedure to stave off balding.
And they appear to be hopeful of the supposed hair transplant in some way leading to improved performances on the pitch next season.
‘This is crazy,’ one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter, before adding: ‘Bro is 26 again, we’re cooking.’

Hair transplant or no, Salah will do well to improve on his performances during the 2023-24 campaign.
Despite the negativity that surrounded his performances, the Reds star finished the Premier League season with 28 goal contributions in 32 games.
That tally rose to 39 contributions in 44 outings in all competitions.
Speculation is mounting over the Egyptian’s future at the Merseyside club, with Salah’s contract at Anfield set to expire in 2025.
The 31-year-old, who had been linked with a mega-money move to Saudi Arabia, having been targeted last summer.

Despite that, Salah offered a big clue on his social media last month that he could be staying at the club.
Salah stated: ‘We know that trophies are what count and we will do everything possible to make that happen next season. Our fans deserve it and we will fight like hell.’
