EXCLUSIVE: After claims emerged that the Duke of Sus𝑠e𝑥 is planning a trip to the UK, a top royal expert explains why Harry’s latest moves prove this is unlikely
Following claims that Prince Harry is planning a trip to the UK in an attempt to repair his bond with the Royal Family, a leading expert has questioned whether this is likely after a number of missed opportunities on the Duke’s side.
It comes after a number of perceived snubs to Harry – including missing out on an invitation to June’s Trooping the Colour, not meeting King Charles during his May visit, and being left off the guest list for his close friend, the Duke of Westminster’s wedding.
“If Harry had really wanted to confront his family and patch things up, he would surely have allotted more time to his recent visits so that his father – at least – could make arrangements to see him,” former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond questions, as she speaks exclusively to OK!

Jennie continues: “I don’t think there’s any chance of William wanting to do so, particularly with all he has on his plate right now. So, I’ll believe this when I see it, but it will be lovely if he could indeed spend some time, perhaps at Balmoral, during the summer and make peace with his father.”
The expert’s comments come after it was claimed that after viewing footage of the King’s official birthday from his home in the US, Prince Harry was allegedly left feeling “upset and emotional” upon seeing footage of the Princess of Wales.
A source revealed to Closer magazine: “He can’t believe it’s come to this, and he’s now saying he’s going to fly over and force them to face him. He’s still a prince, after all; they’re still his family, and whether they like it or not, he’s refusing to just be cast aside.”

The insider continued: “He continues to be heartbroken and confused by the way he’s being treated by the royals. It’s as though he doesn’t exist anymore.”, reports the Express.
A source close to the situation has revealed that Harry is finding it “incredibly difficult” to cope with not being able to “bond” with his once “beloved” sister-in-law Kate.
The insider said: “He continues to be heartbroken and confused by the way he’s being treated by the royals. He’s not getting updates on his father or Kate’s health, and even basic communications are pretty well non-existent.” They concluded, “It’s as though he doesn’t exist anymore.”

Harry’s latest appearance saw him open up about dealing with his mother’s death as he urged children not to “suppress” their emotions as he once did.
Prince Harry told a group of bereaved children that they should not suppress their grief forever as it would eventually “eat away” at them, as he spoke about his own personal experiences.
“You convince yourself that the person you’ve lost wants you, or you need to be sad for as long as possible to prove to them that they are missed. But then there’s this realisation of, no, they must want me to be happy,” he said.
