Kate Middleton ‘can’t bear thought’ of Prince George facing horrible ordeal she suffered at his age

Kate Middleton is reportedly ‘heartbroken’ after she and Prince William had a ‘major argument’ over where Prince George should go to secondary school in the future

Kate Middleton is reportedly “heartbroken” following a supposed “argument” with Prince William regarding the future schooling of their son, Prince George. The Royal couple are said to be at odds over whether he should attend Eton College like his father and uncle, Prince Harry.

William, who is 41 years old, along with his brother Harry, aged 39, both went to Eton, marking a shift from the previous Royal tradition of attending Gordonstoun in Scotland. While William is keen for George to follow in their footsteps when he’s of age, Kate, also 41, is allegedly not on board with the idea.

A source close to the royals disclosed to Touch Weekly that the Duchess has strong reservations about sending George to the elite all-boys school. This stems from Kate’s own negative experiences; she was “horribly bullied at her first boarding school” at her first boarding school, the source revealed.

According to them, Kate “can’t bear the thought of George suffering through that.”

Kate’s early education took place at Downe House, a girls’ boarding school in Berkshire, which she “hated” so much that she left mid-term. She then transferred to Marlborough College, a mixed boarding school in Wiltshire, where she completed her education, reports the Mirror.

It’s this school that Kate favours for George. The insider pointed out: “Kate thinks sending George to such a stuffy, upper-crust institution goes against all of their efforts to modernise the monarchy.”

The Wales household is reportedly facing a significant issue, with the couple spending hours “arguing” over whether to send their son away to school, an insider claimed. “Kate long disagreed with her husband about sending him away, even though it’s tradition,” they said.

Yet, it seems she is “finally giving in” to Prince William’s wishes, and he appears to have “won” the argument. The Prince of Wales himself attended Eton from 1995 to 2000, with current fees listed at £53,398 on the school’s website.

In other Royal news, Princess Kate has been using a very down-to-earth method to stay connected with her children. Amidst her shocking cancer diagnosis and treatment at the London Clinic, keeping in touch with Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, would have been crucial.

It’s believed that the 41 year old princess used FaceTime to communicate with her little ones while Prince William took care of them at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.
