If you thought Friday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful (recapped here) sealed with a kiss Ridge’s promise to replace Steffy with Brooke as co-CEO, you were absolutely right. On the other hand, if you thought Steffy would step aside without a fight, you were dead wrong. Wait till you see what goes down in the sneak-peek video that the soap just aired.
Hope Is Ready to Do Whatever It Takes
As you may have noticed on screen, Hope is, like, super into her fashion line. In case you missed it, though, she reminds us — and, at the same time, hubby Liam — saying, “I am so proud of Hope For the Future. I’ve gotta fight for it.”
Even if doing so sets up what amounts to another coup at Forrester Creations, with Ridge seeking to remove his daughter from her seat of power and plop wife Brooke in it!
Ridge’s Lucky He Doesn’t Get Slapped
When Ridge approaches Steffy with the idea of handing her role over to Brooke… um, let’s just say that Steffy doesn’t take it too terribly well. “Brooke has earned her spot here; I get it,” she allows. “But she’s not gonna have my job.”
And the look in Steffy’s eyes as she lays down the law… man, we haven’t seen that kind of formidable glare since her late grandmother Stephanie passed away!
Zende’s Finally Fed Up
The video ends with what may be the most surprising thing in it. We thought Zende had gotten so used to being treated like a second-class citizen around Forrester that he hardly even noticed it anymore. But no, he’s ticked that HFTF’s latest line isn’t being produced. As he rages to Carter, “I designed an entire collection that is never gonna see the light of day!”
Or is it? When Hope winds up jumping ship for Logan, perhaps Zende will seize the opportunity to start over at a fashion house that might actually appreciate him.
