Let’s Compare OIC vs China | Country Comparison

In a stunning and urgent comparison, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is facing off against China in a revealing data showdown that highlights stark contrasts across multiple dimensions. With an area of 31.66 million square kilometers, the OIC dwarfs China’s 9.59 million, but the implications of these numbers extend far beyond geography.

The OIC boasts a staggering population of 1.83 billion, outpacing China’s 1.41 billion. Yet, the density of Chinese citizens is significantly higher at 145 people per square kilometer compared to the OIC’s 67.5. Economically, China dominates with a nominal GDP of $18.3 trillion, overshadowing the OIC’s $12.8 trillion, and a GDP per capita of $12,969 compared to the OIC’s $6,981.

Language and religion also draw a stark line: Arabic is the most spoken language in the OIC with 500 million speakers, while Mandarin Chinese leads with 1.2 billion. Islam reigns as the predominant faith in the OIC, with 1.55 billion adherents, contrasting with the 750 million atheists in China.

When it comes to military might, the OIC commands 5.5 million active personnel and 2.3 million reserves, vastly outnumbering China’s 2.2 million active troops. However, China boasts a formidable arsenal including 500 nuclear weapons and 7,133 aircraft, compared to the OIC’s 175 nuclear arms and 3 aircraft carriers.

In Olympic history, China leads with 804 medals, while the OIC has garnered 784. The competition extends to economic powerhouses within these regions, with Qatar’s GDP per capita reaching $71,568, while Macau’s is even higher at $78,133.

This comparison reveals not just numbers, but the shifting dynamics of power and influence in a rapidly evolving global landscape. As these two entities continue to navigate their respective paths, the implications for international relations and economic strategies are profound and immediate. Stay tuned as this story develops, with potential ramifications that could reshape geopolitical alliances.
