It’s hard to believe that we’re coming up on six months since that fateful night when Luna had eluded police only to later be hit by a car and pronounced dead. While many feel safer without her presence, since this is a soap, others have been waiting for the next shoe to drop with another back-from-the-dead storyline. Whether or not that will ever happen, The Bold and the Beautiful alum, Lisa Yamada, has stayed quite busy since leaving the CBS soap behind.
Back in March, the actress was spotted at the show’s new home at the Sunset Las Palmas Studios for the 39th anniversary party and prior to that, it was announced that she had appeared in an episode of Will Trent. Then in November of 2025, news came that her new movie, I Wish You All the Best would be hitting theaters that month. And now, fans, she’s at it again…
Our sister site, Deadline, has learned that Yamada landed a role in the new movie My Boyfriend Is a Demon, which has just began production and viewers will be taken on a journey alongside a lonely, small-town girl named Mary, who, wanting to belong, creates a “finsta” (fake Instagram) account for her imaginary boyfriend. However, it’s all fun and games until the “perfect guy” actually appears on her doorstep. Though there are no details as of yet for Yamada’s character, stay tuned as more information is released.
Until then… even though Luna hasn’t been the one creating drama on the soap these days, there’s been plenty going around…
