Tensions continue to escalate behind the scenes of the popular BET+ series All The Queen’s Men, as creator Christian Keyes and lead actress Eva Marcille appear to be at odds following a series of public statements.
In recent Instagram Live sessions, Christian Keyes, who created the show based on his novel Ladies Night, opened up about his strained relationship with Tyler Perry Studios.
Keyes claimed that after the show moved under Tyler Perry’s umbrella, his creator credit was temporarily removed (which he had to fight to reinstate via the union), and the series took on what he described as “weird” storylines that deviated from his original vision.
He also confirmed the show will end after Season 5 and announced plans to reboot it elsewhere with an entirely new cast.
Keyes specifically referred to the current cast’s ongoing “Queens Night Out” tour as a “bootleg” tour and stated that none of the original actors — including those playing Madam, Midnight, Baby Face, Trouble, and Fuego — would be welcomed back to his future projects, citing issues with professionalism and unprofessional behavior on set.
Eva Marcille, who portrays the central character Madam, responded firmly on social media with a pointed message: “WARNING: Do not speak on me PERIOD… Please positive vibes only.
I have stayed out of all of your messy messy messy mess. Keep your misery and victim behavior far away from me. God’s child winners only. Do not tell any lies about me and I will not tell the world the truth about you.”
The exchange has ignited widespread discussion among fans of the show, with many speculating about deeper behind-the-scenes conflicts involving creative control, contracts, and personal grievances. The 𝒹𝓇𝒶𝓂𝒶 adds to previous tensions, including earlier reports of cease-and-desist letters sent to Keyes by other cast members.
As All The Queen’s Men approaches its final season on BET+, this public feud highlights the challenges of maintaining harmony in long-running ensemble productions, especially when creative ownership and business interests collide.
Whether Keyes will successfully relaunch the series with a fresh cast or if the original stars will continue the story through other avenues remains to be seen.
