Louis Tomlinson appeared to be in his element as he was seen walking alongside Prince William after the pair watched England’s game against Denmark on Thursday
Louis Tomlinson has been rubbing shoulders with Prince William once again.
The musician, 32, recently headed out to Deutsche Bank Park for the England v Denmark Euro 2024 game. The Prince, 42, who is the President of the FA watched the match alongside King Frederik of Denmark. But after the 1-1 stalemate, the two royals went their separate ways on Thursday.
Moments after the game, Doncaster-born Louis was seen walking alongside the Prince of Wales as they appeared to be engaged in a deep conversation with one another. In a clip shared by Louis on his Instagram page, the future King could be seen asking the Chicago singer a question, to which Louis, who was carrying a pint of lager replied: “I am, yeah.”

However, details about their conversation were not made clear although it appears as though the Prince and Louis were extremely comfortable with one another. While some may have been baffled by Louis and William appearing to be pals, the pair actually have a history with one another.
Prince William reveals what advice Prince Louis had for England players
In 2014, the pair met when Louis and his former One Direction bandmates performed at the Royal Variety Performance and again in 2017 when he performed at the event as a solo artist. Speaking previously about meeting William and Catherine at the 2014 event, Tomlinson said: “I didn’t say ma’am, I said – Hi. How are you? I’m Louis.”
Following the birth of William and Princess Catherine’s youngest son, Louis, the hitmaker even took to social media to say he will take the little one “under my wing”. He said: “Welcome to the club. I’ll take you under my wing lad. The Adidas tracksuit is in the post!” Louis’ outing comes after the Mirror revealed he and Niall Horan had unfollowed Simon Cowell on social media.
During an appearance on the Diary of a CEO podcast, Cowell confirmed that despite being behind One Direction’s creation on The X Factor, he is unable to profit from them. He said: “That’s the problem, could have made an animation or whatever but when you give an artist the name, it’s not yours and that’s my only regret.
“So if you’re listening, I’ll buy it back from you. But that’s the only thing I do regret. If one of the band members, for whatever reason say they don’t want to tour, it can stop the others touring, so if it was me who owned the name, it wouldn’t be a problem.”
