‘Dragon Ball’ confirms comeback plans

Good news for fans as the official website of “Dragon Ball” has confirmed plans to bring back this beloved manga in the near future.

Dragon Ball Super is about to return to readers.

Specifically, the official website reported on plans to bring the Dragon Ball Super manga back in the near future instead of pausing indefinitely as it is now after the passing of legendary author Akira Toriyama.

On April 19, the official Dragon Ball website posted a new post about the current status of Dragon Ball brand products , including manga, video games, cards… that will appear in the Jam-Packed V Jump Super-Sized June Edition.

In it, the ” Dragon Ball Super Interval Special ” section made the announcement: “Until the Dragon Ball Super manga returns to start a new story, Jump will have illustrations and commentary from artist Toyotarou, along with other artists. Special features will make the Super Heroes story even more interesting!”.

Toyotarou is known to be the person who was trusted by the late author Akira Toriyama to be the next person to draw Dragon Ball in his place. The two had a time collaborating when working on the Dragon Ball Super project. Unfortunately, after the late author’s passing, Toyotarou could only continue the project alone without the support of his respected predecessor.

Also in the announcement of Dragon Ball Super’s return , the first illustration on the website is of Dr. Gero’s son, Gevo. The accompanying description specifically reads: “Part 1 of this special project focuses on the Red Ribbon Army! From their members to the androids they create, this is your chance to get to know them all!”

The Red Ribbon Army first appeared in the Dragon Ball Z manga as an antagonistic organization during Goku’s second mission to locate the Dragon Balls.

According to CBR, the Dragon Ball Super manga has been on hiatus since the release of chapter 103. The confirmation of the return of this work is of course exciting news for Dragon Ball Super fans .

Before Akira Toriyama’s passing, artist Toyotarou once said that the praise of this respected senior was “everything to him”. Therefore, continuing to inherit and promote the late author’s legacy is also a form of honoring him.

In another development, VIZ – the largest manga publisher in the US – has licensed the Dragon Ball Super manga to translate 20 out of the work’s 23 volumes. The description in the first episode states: “After defeating Buu, Goku begins to feel bored with life on Earth. His wife, Chi-chi, wants him to get a job but all he does is What he wants to do is train and fight stronger enemies.

Elsewhere in the universe, the God of Destruction, Beerus, and his servant Whis are traveling from planet to planet in search of food and entertainment. After blowing up several living beings, Beerus remembered a man in his dream with the nickname ‘Super Saiyan God’. And finally this duo decided to go to Earth. Maybe this will give Goku more work to do?
