Cheryl’s son Bear, who she shares with Liam Payne, is set to celebrate his seventh birthday next month with a source claiming the singer is eager to give him a sibling.

Cheryl Cole has a significant personal event coming up next month as she completes her comeback UK tour with Girls Aloud.

The proud mum- of-one to her son Bear, who she shares with One Directon star Liam Payne, is getting ready to celebrate her son’s seventh birthday.

And while preparations are in full swing for his special day, reports suggest the singer is keen to give Bear a sibling sooner rather than later.

Girls Aloud icon Cheryl, 40, became a first-time mum with ex-flame Liam Payne in 2017, and they parted ways shortly after Bear’s first birthday.

In spite of their breakup, it seems Cheryl has not let go of the dream of extending her family, the Mirror reports.

An insider told Heat Magazine: “Cheryl’s not yet fully given up on her dream to have another baby, but she knows it probably has to be within the next year or so.

“With Bear’s birthday coming up, it’s really hitting home to Cheryl that he’s no longer her baby, and is now a proper little boy who is growing more independent by the day.

“It’s gone by in a blur, and she really misses that time when it was just her and him in their own little bubble.”

After a rollercoaster relationship of two-and-a-half-years, Cheryl and Liam, who is now 30, decided to part ways. Reports highlight the pair now share a better relationship since their separation.

Back in 2013, One Direction star Liam suffered a health scare when he was hurriedly rushed to the hospital suffering from a kidney infection. This left Cheryl reportedly worried about his wellbeing.

A separate source confided to the publication: “Cheryl is really worried about Liam. As soon as she heard he was in hospital, she feared the worst. She’s really protective of him and is worried no one is actually looking out for him.”

Liam has previously opened up about co-parenting with Cheryl and explained their decision to part ways.

On Logan Paul’s podcast Impaulsive, he shared: “I get to take my son to school one or two times a week and it’s the best thing. The relationship we have now as friends has only grown more.”

“We broke up for a reason and now she gives me full autonomy of my life and to do what I want to do and I know he’s (Bear) taken care of.

“He is all she cares about and I couldn’t ask for more. They live like three minutes from my house.”

“I always glue myself to where he is. My life now is his. My money is his. He is a lovely, lovely boy. We’ve been blessed.”

The couple initially appeared smitten after they started dating in 2016, often seen together on red carpets, including at the BRIT Awards in 2018.

However, their relationship seemed to decline following the birth of Bear, with Liam hinting becoming parents played a role in their breakup.
