A Harry Potter and the Cursed Child trailer edit reveals a fan take on the movie with the original cast. Ever since the massively popular film series came to a conclusion in 2011 with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, there has been much interest in seeing the franchise’s Golden Trio – Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione Granger (Emma Watson), and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) – return to the silver screen. One way that could happen is a film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the stage play written by Jack Thorne.
Written by Thorne, with a story by J.K. Rowling and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child takes place 19 years after the main events of Deathly Hallows. The story starts at the same time as the Deathly Hallows epilogue when Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione proudly watch their children leave for Hogwarts at King’s Cross station. At this time, Harry is the Head of Magical Law Enforcement, Hermione is the Minister for Magic, and Ron manages Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes in Diagon Alley.
