Deadline reports that Thad Luckinbill, known for his role as CIA Officer Kyle McManus, will return as a main cast member for Lioness season 2. Luckinbill appeared in six out of eight episodes in Special Ops: Lioness season 1. Notably, in the first season of the Paramount+ series, Kyle played a key role in abducting an informant.
Star and executive producer SaldaÃąa will return as Joe McNamara, the CIA officer in charge of the Lioness program in the field. Laysla De Oliveira, who portrayed Marine Raider Cruz MaÃąuelos, will also make a comeback. Executive producer Nicole Kidman will reprise her role as Kaitlyn Meade, alongside Michael Kelly, who played Kaitlynâs supervisor Byron Westfield. Additionally, Morgan Freeman, portraying Secretary of State Edwin Mullins, has been promoted to a main cast member.Â
