Zoro’s Left Eye Mystery: Could the Straw Hat Swordsman Be Hiding a Power Beyond Haki?

According to a One Piece theory, Zoro’s left eye has the power of the devil which is even more powerful and dangerous than the Haki ability.

The swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece, Roronoa Zoro, is currently one of the strongest characters in the series. He has constantly been leveling up to reach the top and earn the title of the strongest swordsman in the world. However, he still has a long way to go, as there are many other swordsmen with extreme strength who are evidently more skilled than him.

Many fans believe that Zoro’s next power-up will most likely be related to his left eye, which has been shut since the time skip. Although it looks like it has been damaged during a fight, there have been multiple theories claiming that it is actually hiding a mysterious power that will take Zoro to the next level.

One of those recent theories links Zoro to the mysterious demonic aspects in One Piece. There have been multiple hints about the alleged devil and his powers in One Piece, and Zoro has been paralleled with it since Wano. Therefore, this One Piece theory might just turn out to be true.

The Mystery Behind Zoro’s Left Eye

The One Piece time skip brought a lot of changes, especially for the Straw Hat Pirates. In the case of Zoro, he was sent to Kuraigana Island to train under the current strongest swordsman, Dracule Mihawk. He went through an intense struggle to master his swordsman skills and eventually got better at it.

He also mastered Haki, but the biggest shock that fans got was the mysterious scar on his left eye. Allegedly, Zoro injured his eye while training, but it was never confirmed by Eiichiro Oda. This was a little suspicious, as it was not even explicitly discussed in the series. This led to fans developing different theories about his left eye.

While some believed that Zoro fought Mihawk once again and he was the one who gave him the scar, others believed that it had some hidden meaning behind it. The majority of fans think that Zoro has hidden some mysterious power within his left eye that he will reveal at the right time and level up his overall strength.

Zoro’s Left Eye Has A Power That is Even Stronger Than Haki

Among the multiple theories about Zoro’s mysterious left eye, one theory claims that it is somehow related to the “demonic” eyes of different characters in One Piece. The theory states that characters like Mihawk, Cavendish, Imu, and Big Mom have strangely colored eyes that make them special.

While Mihawk and Imu’s eyes have always been like this, Cavendish and Big Mom’s eyes only change when the devil within them takes control. In Big Mom’s case, it is her hunger, and in Cavendish’s case, it is his split personality, Hakuba. Whenever their eyes change, they become extremely powerful and dangerous to almost everyone around them.

According to the theory, Zoro has also awakened his left eye and has joined these characters. However, as it is an extremely dangerous power-up, Zoro prefers to keep it closed. It also connects perfectly with the Zoro devil One Piece theory that is quite popular among the fandom. Thus, fans will have to wait and see what Oda has planned for Zoro and his mysterious eye.
