One Piece Chapter 1132 Delayed: Oda Takes A Shocking Sudden Long Break

One Piece fans were delighted with the return of the series last week, and incredible excitement for chapter 1132 had already built up. With Loki being under the spotlight once again and characters such as Shanks being mentioned, along with much else, the expectations for One Piece chapter 1132 were sky-high already.

However, fans were shocked to know that they won’t be getting access to One Piece chapter 1132 anytime soon. Unfortunate as it may be, One Piece chapter 1132 is getting delayed, and there certainly appears to be a cause for concern among the fans here.

One Piece Goes On A Sudden Break

Fans Fear Over Oda’s Health

One Piece readers would remember very well that the series went on a long hiatus rather recently. One Piece went on a 2-week break, meaning that it skipped two issues of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and that fans had to wait 3 weeks for a new chapter. Thankfully, this excruciatingly long wait finally ended last week, and fans got access to One Piece chapter 1131. It is safe to say that this chapter lived up to all the expectations that fans had and more. Not only did it reveal a lot of exciting information pertaining to Luffy’s ongoing conversation with Loki, but at the same time, fans also saw the other half of the Straw Hat Pirates finally arriving on the island.

At the same time, fans also got to see a lot more interesting things, such as Loki’s bounty reveal, Luffy’s short moment of rage against Loki, and most importantly, Loki’s connection with Shanks, which was seized in the chapter as well. A lot of unanswered questions currently circle the minds of the fans, and it is quite clear to the readers that One Piece chapter 1132 is going to be absolutely massive just because it is going to dive deeper into Loki’s character, and answer a lot of these questions to the fans. Unfortunately, One Piece is now going to go on another break, as has been confirmed today. This break wasn’t planned and, as a result, was not announced with the release of One Piece chapter 1131.

Oda (2017): I have no fear of running out of manga ideas. I am confident that if I think hard, I can come up with any good ideas. There is only the battle to keep my lifespan from running out before One Piece reaches the final chapter.

This break from Oda is rather sudden, for some reason. It appears that One Piece is going to go on a 2-week break once again, which is certainly surprising to all the fans. This means that the next chapter of One Piece will see the fans wait for three more weeks, adding to the misery of the content-deprived fans once again.

Naturally, fans are wondering what the reason for this delay is, and at this point, no official confirmation has been provided by Shueisha. All fans know is that Oda has taken a sudden break, which might be a reason for worry for many fans, as expected.

One Piece’s Latest Break Raises Concern Among The Fans

Oda Could Be Facing Health-Related Issues

As mentioned earlier, One Piece has now taken an official break, which means fans will have to wait until the month of December for the next One Piece chapter. Naturally, this break has now become a cause for concern among the fans. Usually, Oda sticks to his break schedule. This means that he takes a single break after every three chapters, and fans have grown used to that over the years. Sometimes, Oda may take a break after every two chapters, and while that is also unusual, it is not a cause for concern, because these breaks are announced with the release of a new Jump issue.

It is very rare for Oda to take a break all of a sudden without announcing it at all. However, that is exactly what has happened this time around. Oda was not planning to take another two-week long break, but today, it was finally confirmed that One Piece is going to go on a sudden break. Naturally, the biggest concern that fans have is related to Oda’s health.

This break suggests that something is wrong with Oda’s health, or, that he is either overworked, or simply ill. The exact reason for this break has not been yet revealed, and it will most likely be some time before fans find out the answer to that question. Of course, while nothing can be said as of yet, what fans do know is that One Piece will not be returning in the month of November at all. The next One Piece chapter, which is One Piece 1132, is most certainly going to return in the first week of December, which is quite some time away. This would also mean that One Piece has already published its last chapter for this year’s Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. The next chapter for One Piece will be published in Issue #1 of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine 2025, even though the chapter itself will be published in the month of December.

When Will One Piece Return?

One Piece Will Make A Grand Comeback In December

As has been confirmed already, One Piece will return in December. To be more specific, One Piece chapter 1132 will be released officially on December 1, 2025. Of course, fans who read the scanlations can expect the chapter a few days before. Naturally, this isn’t easy for fans to deal with, especially when this break comes on top of an already extended 3-week break that they faced recently. It also does not help that Elbaf is going incredibly well at this point in the story, and that Oda is introducing one exciting plot point after another.

Sad as it may be, right now, fans’s priority should be Oda’s health. As long as Oda is okay, One Piece will return and continue with the same intensity. All fans have to do is wait a little bit longer. After all, there’s absolutely no doubting the fact that a manga with the quality of One Piece is certainly worth waiting for. In the meanwhile, fans have the Fish-Man Island re-edition of the One Piece anime to look forward to every week. Naturally, this isn’t as exciting as the manga, or even a weekly anime episode, but it is all that they have during this short break. At the same time, fans can also spend this time theorizing about the various intriguing plot points in the story.

Loki is one character that fans would do well to theorize more about, given his importance to the ongoing Arc of One Piece. Hopefully, this time passes by quickly and fans get treated to another incredible One Piece chapter when the manga does eventually return. As always, this article will be updated accordingly if the reason for Oda’s sudden break is revealed. All fans can do right now is hope that it is nothing serious and Oda is simply taking precautions.
