Twin sisters Petunia and Pediah, who are from Pretoria, South Africa, have made headlines after revealing they’re both in a relationship with the same man, Themba. The trio, who call themselves the “Euphoria Throuple,” have been together for two years and often face mixed reactions online.
The sisters met Themba while on vacation when he offered to buy them ice cream. At first, the twins were unsure and spent months talking to him before agreeing to a date. Since then, they’ve become inseparable — even sharing a bed. They shared their story with the Love Don’t Judge YouTube channel. He said dating twins has its challenges, like sometimes confusing them.
“Sometimes he doesn’t notice who’s who,” Petunia said.
Themba described their personalities as “sugar and salt” and that dating them felt like “having the best of both worlds.” To keep things fair, the trio set clear boundaries.
“If I feel like he has been giving my twin sister more attention than me then I actually sit him down and tell him ‘you need to give me attention also,’” Petunia said.
Themba admits their relationship draws a lot of criticism. They’ve been kicked out of stores for public displays of affection, and many assume the sisters are only with him for money. He knew their relationship would be controversial but was ready for the criticism. “I expected this from the start,” he said.
For the twins, sharing a partner feels natural. They’ve tried dating separately before, but it never worked. They say they’re simply used to doing everything together — including falling in love with the same man.
Their relationship has sparked mixed reactions online, with some questioning their motivations, while others voice concerns about the age gap and the twin dynamic. Despite the controversy, the trio remains content in their unconventional love.
