After several months of relationship, American singer Megan Thee Stallion and former Warriors star Klay Thompson have split up amid accusations of infidelity.

It’s over for Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson. After several months of dating, the American rapper confirmed that they have ended their relationship. In a statement relayed by several American media outlets, including Billboard, she explained that she made this decision to protect herself, emphasizing that “trust, loyalty, and respect” are essential to her.
The breakup comes in a tense context. The 31-year-old singer left little room for doubt, accusing the Dallas basketball player of infidelity in her Instagram story. “Cheating… while I was there with your whole family… then you got scared,” she wrote on Saturday.
“I supported you through all your TERRIBLE mood swings and the way you treated me during your basketball season, and now you don’t even know if you want to be ‘monogamous’????” she continued.
“Honestly, I need a REAL break after this… bye everyone,” concluded Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete. As a reminder, the “Savage” singer and Stephen Curry’s former teammate made their relationship official in the summer of 2025.
At Thanksgiving, Klay Thompson had even named his boat after the singer, “SS Stallion”, and the couple had spent the holidays surrounded by the player’s family.
