He Was Fired For “Lacking Creativity”… Then Built an Empire That Made the World Dream ✨

His name is Walt Disney.

Born into a poor family, young Walt woke up at 3 AM to deliver newspapers with his brother. His father was strict and rarely showed love. At one of his first animation jobs, he was fired because his boss said he “lacked imagination and creativity.”

He started his own company, Laugh-O-Gram Studio. It went bankrupt. He was broke, depressed, and at one point had to eat dog food to survive.

About Walt Disney - D23

But Walt refused to quit.

After losing the rights to his first successful character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, he sat on a train ride home, heartbroken. On that train, he sketched a little mouse and named him Mickey Mouse.

The rest is history.

Walt went on to create Disneyland — a place people said was impossible. Banks rejected him over 300 times. Experts called him crazy. But he believed in his dream so deeply that he mortgaged everything he owned to make it happen.

Today, Disney’s empire touches billions of lives. From Mickey Mouse to Cinderella, from Disneyland to the Avengers — all born from a man who was once told he wasn’t creative enough.
