One Piece has recently dove deep into some of the most exciting aspects of the story and fans know that much of that is down to Vegapunk’s message, which started quite a while ago. Vegapunk was killed by Kizaru on Egghead Island or at least that is what fans are led to believe. However, regardless of whether or not he’s officially dead, fans know that Vegapunk had a grand plan established.

By now, he’s almost finished everything that he wanted to say. While he has fully revealed the past as well as he knew, now is the time for Vegapunk to predict the future, and fans cannot be more excited for this grand prediction which is to follow in the upcoming chapter of One Piece.

Joy Boy had the same powers as Luffy, which means that he had the power of the Nika fruit as well. Joyboy drew connections to Nika back during the Void Century, which also confirms that Nika is a mythical individual and not a real one. At the same time, fans also found out Joy Boy was the very first pirate ever, and the Ancient Kingdom was his home. This was at the core of Vegapunk’s message, which connected Joy Boy to this Ancient Kingdom that was said to be incredibly advanced. Vegapunk mentioned clearly that Joy Boy was a part of this massive Kingdom and that their powers were so great that 20 Kingdoms joined forces to fight against him and destroy them.

Vegapunk mentioned that the fight between the ancient Kingdom and the 20 Kings happened because of a difference in ideologies. He clearly mentioned that the Ancient Weapons existed long ago during the Void Century, and that they were created by the people of the Ancient Kingdom. These weapons were responsible for the sinking of the world. Long ago, the world of One Piece was essentially a collection of giant continents. Now, there are a few islands. This is simply down to the fact that the world of One Piece has been flooded. This flooding happened because of the usage of ancient weapons. Every time an ancient weapon is used, the water level continues to rise, and after the 100-year void, the water level rose by 200 m, which is absolutely staggering. All that is left are bits of the continents, which fans know to be the various islands of the world. This is precisely why the world of One Piece has erratic weather, and at the same time, hard to traverse seas as well.

Vegapunk Has Foreseen A Scary Future For The World

Of course, fans would wonder as to what Vegapunk’s prediction for the future of the world is. This prediction isn’t too difficult to figure out. Fans already know that Vegapunk knows about the existence of the Nika fruit, and this is essentially something that he is most definitely going to mention in his message, provided it is allowed to continue. He will most definitely mention the people of the D, and at the same time, Joy Boy as well. Clearly, he knows the Joy Boy has returned, and that another individual with the power of Nika is currently present in front of him. He will mention that someone, likely one with the power of Nika, will head to the Final Island and fulfill the destiny of the people of the D. Then, Vegapunk could also touch upon the Great War, which is going to erupt. If an island such as Lulusia has already been destroyed, then Vegapunk knows the fact that the One Piece world is not safe anymore and that a war is likely to break out at any point.

When this war does break out, all hell will break loose, and battle from 800 years old will resume. This will work essentially in two ways. Either the world of One Piece will sink even further and this will cause utter destruction, or, someone will avert this disaster and save the One Piece world. Vegapunk will likely go for the former, and say that the One Piece world will sink. This is down to the fact that he opened his message with this line, and this might be something that he strongly believes. Hopefully, fans will find out if Vegapunk reveals any more interesting bits of information in the upcoming chapter, and what he thinks will happen when a war between the World Government and Pirates breaks out.
