Taylor Sheridan is a master at making shows, no matter what they’re about. (Just look at Yellowstone, Tulsa King, 1923… the list goes on!) And that’s especially true with Special Ops: Lioness, an espionage-drama that’s so riveting it’s enough to raise your blood pressure. It also helps that there’s a superstar cast, featuring Nicole Kidman, Zoe Saldaña, and Morgan Freeman—so much talent on one screen!
The first season of Special Ops: Lioness centered around the CIA’s Lioness Program, a subgroup in the government agency made up entirely of women. We watched as Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira), a young gal with a stern personality, is recruited to the team. They aim to take down a terrorist organization by using their skills and resources.
With a story this good and a cast so popular, you might be wondering if there’s a second season in the works. Luckily, the answer is yes! Here’s what to know about Special Ops: Lioness season 2, including a first behind-the-scenes look from Nicole Kidman herself!
