En la película, Charlie, un voluntario de una línea de ayuda remota, desciende a un escalofriante reino de horror cuando resurgen los siniestros susurros de “The Gentleman”. Este extraño malévolo atrae a mujeres desprevenidas fuera de sus hogares con una grabación de un 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 llorando. En lo más profundo de una noche fatídica, los ecos espeluznantes de los gritos de una mujer atraviesan la oscuridad fuera de su casa y se apoderan del corazón de Charlie con un temor repentino cuando comienza a sospechar que no está sola.
Sorry Charlie tuvo su estreno mundial en el Festival de Cine Popcorn Frights 2024 en Miami, Florida. Mary Beth McAndrews de Dread Central revisó la película fuera del festival y dijo:
