Human remains discovered in Maine have been identified as a missing mom of two who was last seen walking barefoot down a road four months ago.

Hoyt’s cause of death hasn’t yet been determined, Maine State Police said Wednesday.

Authorities put out a missing person’s alert warning that the mom likely had no money on her at the time.
Her desperate family said Hoyt had struggled with mental illness and addiction but had been sober for nine years at the time of her disappearance, WAGM reported.
