Loki is one of the most intriguing One Piece characters at the moment. Fans recently saw Loki being reintroduced in the story, and, at the same time, they also got their first proper glimpse of this character. It is safe to say that Loki is an immensely powerful individual, the strength of which amazes all readers.

Loki’s strength goes beyond anything that fans had imagined and Oda has explicitly confirmed him to be a monstrously powerful individual. One Piece chapter 1130 gave fans a glimpse of what Loki is truly capable of, and it is safe to say that there is much more for him to come in the future of the Elbaf Arc of One Piece.

Loki was first introduced to the fans through the Whole Cake Island Arc, where it was revealed that he was infatuated with Lola. Of course, this marriage did not materialize, as fans know already, and this was largely down to the fact that Lola wanted to choose her own destiny instead of being married off by her mother. Around this point, fans did not expect much from Loki. This is largely due to the fact that the silhouette that Oda had chosen for him at the beginning didn’t exactly give off the idea that he was strong. However, fans were aware of the fact that Loki would be involved in the story moving forward.

It was only in the Elbaf arc of One Piece that Oda finally gave fans a hint of Loki’s strength as he was introduced quite early in the arc, specifically in chapter 1130 of One Piece. When the East Blue 5 and Chopper were making it through Elbaf after escaping from Road’s clutches, Luffy felt an absolutely immense presence around him. In fact, according to Luffy, the presence was so strong that his entire body started to tingle. This presence clearly indicates Loki’s incredible strength that Luffy is currently sensing with his Observation Haki. Luffy wasn’t even the only one who sensed this powerful presence.

Zoro and Sanji knew that this mighty powerful individual was around them as well, simply down to the fact that how mighty this power was. This is an absolutely massive statement from Oda in regards to Loki’s strength. For Luffy, a Yonko, to state that the presence is so powerful that his entire body is tingling just goes to show that Loki’s might cannot be matched by just any fighter in One Piece. But, that certainly isn’t all. There is another angle that fans are not even considering at this point.

The truth is that Loki is currently chained. Given that he has a Devil Fruit power, it is likely that these chains have Sea Prism Stone in them. If there truly is Sea Prism Stone in the chains, then Loki is certainly nerfed right now, given that they weaken anyone with the powers of a Devil Fruit. And, that would go on to imply that the presence that Luffy is feeling right now, which is strong enough to tangle his entire body, is his nerfed presence. This wouldn’t even be Loki’s full power, which makes him an even bigger monster in One Piece and one that fans would have to watch out for.

Loki’s Legendary Devil Fruit

Loki Also Has A Powerful Devil Fruit That He Ate Long Ago

As was mentioned earlier, Loki has, in his possession, a powerful Devil Fruit. In One Piece chapter 1130, it was clearly established that at some point in the story, Loki ended up consuming a legendary Devil Fruit. This legendary devil fruit was in possession of his father, Harald, the King of Elbaf. However, Loki decided to slay his dad, and once he did that, he stole the Devil Fruit and consumed it. This Devil Fruit was said to be a legendary one, and perhaps, that is precisely why Loki ended up eating it. That is not to say that all of his strengths are derived from this fruit.

Clearly, what Luffy and the others are sensing is his normal power without the Devil Fruit. Loki can most certainly power himself up by utilizing the power of the devil fruit. As for what this Devil Fruit is, fans do not know at this point in time, but, they will most certainly be made aware later down the line in One Piece. It is likely that this Devil Fruit belongs to either the Logia or the Zoan class, specifically Mythical Zoan. Often, these fruits are said to be legendary, since they carry the status of being the strongest.

Given that there are many mythical creatures in Norse mythology, it is likely that this fruit is a Mythical Zoan. This would also fit in with the idea that Loki considers himself to be the Sun God, which would imply that the fruit might have something to do with the powers of the Sun God itself. Loki is most definitely a mighty devil fruit user, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see him free so he can demonstrate what ability holds up his sleeve and the true level of power that he possesses.

Loki’s Imprisonment Proves His Strength

Loki Is A Mighty Monster That Can Destroy The World

Another indication of Loki’s tremendous strength is the fact that he was not easy to imprison. Loki was most certainly imprisoned after he had consumed his Devil Fruit. Of course, he likely utilized his power in combat, and in order to imprison him, the entirety of Elbaf had to join together. Essentially, an entire country was needed to stop one person from rampaging, which just goes to show his strength once again. This makes even more of an impact when one takes into consideration the fact that the Giants of Elbaf are the strongest race in the One Piece world, and essentially, Oda is saying here that an entire race was needed to imprison this one individual who they consider to be the Disgraced Prince.

Loki’s strength is absolutely magnificent, and there is no denying that fact. In fact, fans have not even seen the best of him yet, and he most certainly hasn’t even gained full mastery over his powers. If Loki goes on to take his powers to the next level, such as gaining Devil Fruit Awakening, then, his overall strength is going to grow even further. Loki claims that he wants to destroy the world, which essentially means that he has to be mighty enough to be able to pull this off. In other words, Loki considers himself to be the strongest, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see what he truly has to offer once he does go all out.
