NORTH West has sparked worry from fans over her public meltdowns and more while growing up in the public eye.

Kim Kardashian’s eldest daughter has been vocal about her dislike of the constant eyes – and cameras – on her.

With the advent of social media, fan access to them has only increased and a new generation of Kardashian-Jenner kids is feeling the strain.

While Kim, 42, and other members of her famous family seem to thrive in front of the cameras, it seems some family members are crumbling under the pressure.

The Skims founder’s daughter North, nine, for one, has struggled to hold back her feelings about all the attention.

She’s not alone in this either.

Her aunt Kourtney Kardashian expressed a desire to pull back from the cameras while filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

And her uncle Rob Kardashian is rarely seen in public.

While North sometimes thrives in front of the camera, she does not hide when she’s not feeling it.

Fans have expressed concern for the tot through the years after taking notice of several public incidents, suggesting North is having a hard time.

Kim was recently photographed restraining her daughter North in the car at a basketball game, stirring chatter from onlookers.

In photos obtained by The U.S. Sun, North appeared to lose her cool after a game.

She was seen leaving the Thousand Oaks, California, arena with the SKKN founder by her side.

North’s father Kanye West was at the game briefly hours earlier.

North had on her jersey and held a water bottle in her hand.

The mother-daughter duo held hands as they walked.

Suddenly North appeared to get upset about something.

Kim just let it play out, continuing to make her way to the car.

In the vehicle, North appeared distraught as Kim raised a hand to cover her daughter’s mouth and face.

In July 2022, North again raised eyebrows with an unusual move in a disturbing clip at Paris Fashion Week.

Kim shared a number of photos and videos on Instagram at the time of the event.

Her daughter posed and served in some adorable menswear-inspired looks alongside her mom and grandmother Kris Jenner.

Though one subtle aspect of her appearance had some fans worried.

North was sporting a fake hoop nose ring.

She stepped out with twist-style braids in her hair, dark oval sunglasses on, and indeed, a hoop in her nose that matched her mom’s.

North also sported a pinstriped suit vest with a white button-down shirt – and undoubtedly looked cute in the pictures, even if some felt the chain-linked accessory was not suitable for a child.

A new clip in Kim’s most recent batch of bold snaps also had fans concerned.

Seated next to her mom at the Jean Paul Gaultier show, North was holding up a handwritten sign.

Written in pen in all-caps was the word “STOP.”

However meme-able it was, North seemed to be holding up a distress signal to photographers at the show.

Kim made light of it when she shared the clip, writing in the caption: “For anyone who knows North knows how funny she finds the last slide!

“North I guess had it with the people taking pictures of her so she wrote on her invite STOP and held it up and wanted them to just focus on the show…”

However, not all fans thought the sign was as funny as Kim and sensed that North was clearly uncomfortable.

On Reddit, hundreds of critics penned their distaste, calling Kim’s parenting into question for having not removed North from the situation.

“I feel bad for North. This is not okay and Kim should put a stop to that,” wrote one.

“Kim doesn’t care to stop it, she encourages it,” wrote another.

“She should point that sign at her mother, the person who drags her to these events as a prop,” a third said.

In April 2023, North stepped out at an event in Los Angeles with her mom.

Fans couldn’t help but notice that she appeared annoyed as she posed for photos.

She hit the carpet with her mom and hair stylist Chris Appleton but did not smile in the pics.

North looked fashionable, despite her demeanor.

She wore a black blazer and pants with Dolce and Gabbana boots.

She stared at the camera while standing with Kim, who was wearing a crop top and thigh-split skirt.

The preteen’s fans thought she looked over it as she posed with Appleton.

North’s followers expressed concerns for her on Reddit, with one writing: “Poor child looks tired of being dragged around by her mom.”

Another added: “She’s not happy at all. She looks annoyed and over her mother’s s**t tbh.”

A third posted: “North looks annoyed honestly. It’s sad that she has to spend so many years putting up with her family’s bs.”

In 2019, North shocked fans with a video of her throwing a tantrum that was documented in a video shot by Kim.

The clip showed North proudly showing off her pink snakeskin ensemble, as reported by The Mirror.

She cried, however, after her mom said she couldn’t wear an expensive pair of heels with the outfit.

The boots appeared to be a custom pair of Yeezy’s made specifically for Kim.

The Hulu star captioned her post: “Sooooo Miss North dressed herself and thought she was ready for the day until I explained she couldn’t wear my boots.”
