Born in the tough streets of South Bronx, Cardi B (Belcalis Almánzar) grew up extremely poor. Her family survived on government food stamps (WIC). She remembers walking for miles just to get free milk and cheese for her siblings.

Then she made a decision that changed everything.
She became a stripper.
