Per anime studio Toei Animation, the streaming giant is set to add three new batches of HD remastered episodes of the One Piece anime series in the coming months. On Nov. 15, the first batch of 16 HD remastered One Piece episodes will arrive on Netflix, followed by two additional batches of 16 and 15 HD remastered episodes arriving on the platform on Dec. 15, 2025, and Jan. 15, 2026, respectively.

All three batches of HD remastered One Piece episodes headed to Netflix come from the anime series’ “East Blue” saga, bringing the total number of episodes of the show available on the platform to well over 800. This is particularly exciting for fans of One Piece‘s opening arc, which is still slated to receive a WIT Studio remake on top of the HD remasters. Although there is currently no word on when WIT Studio remake is expected to debut, it has previously been confirmed that it will also be heading to Netflix at that time.

The “East Blue” saga serves as the opening story for One Piece, consisting of the first 12 volumes of the original manga, the first five dozen episodes of the original anime and the first season of the live-action adaptation from Netflix. Over the course of this saga, audiences are introduced not just to the likes of Monkey D. Luffy and Captain Shanks of the Red Hair Pirates, but also to many of the former’s fellow Straw Hats. Among those who join Luffy in his journey in the “East Blue” saga are One Piece icons Nami, Roronoa Zoro, Sanji and Usopp, the latter of whom proves to share his own connection to the Red Hair Pirates — specifically, his father Yasopp, one of the crew’s senior officers and a capable sniper.

While Netflix is giving audiences multiple reasons to revisit One Piece‘s opening chapters, fans are also eagerly looking forward to the beginning of the end as the ongoing anime quickly approaches its “Elbaf” arc. Set to premiere some time next year, this is the 33rd main story arc in the manga and is set to play the same role for the One Piece anime adaptation. Just days ago, a promotional video for the release of Volume 113 of the manga posted to the official One Piece YouTube channel featured the voice of acclaimed actor Kenjiro Tsuda in the role of Shanks’ evil twin brother, Figarland Shamrock, with many fans taking it as an implication that Tsuda will also portray Shamrock in the anime when the “Elbaf” arc begins in 2026.

The first batch of HD remastered episodes of the One Piece anime arrive on Netflix on Nov. 15, followed by further batches of HD remastered episodes on Dec. 15 and Jan. 15.
