Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez has made a significant move ahead of the Copa America 2024 tournament.

Nunez is currently focused on Uruguay’s campaign this summer as he prepares to return to Liverpool under the management of new boss Arne Slot.

In his recent performance for Uruguay, the 24-year-old impressed by scoring a hat-trick in a 4-0 friendly win over Mexico.

Darwin Nunez has made headlines by officially signing with Adidas, departing from his previous affiliation with Nike.

Nunez has already donned all three of Adidas’ boot silhouettes: Predator 24, Copa Pure, and X Crazyfast.

Notably, he debuted a pair of blackout Adidas Copa Pure boots in a Premier League match against Arsenal last season.

Nunez aims to shine as a prominent figure in this summer’s Copa America showpiece under the guidance of head coach Marcelo Bielsa, who has consistently brought out the best in the striker during his tenure.

Uruguay, boasting a record 15 Copa America titles, will contest against co-hosts the United States, Bolivia, and Panama in their group stage matches.
