Blackpink Announces Special Fansign Event To Celebrate 8th Debut Anniversary

Blackpink are set to reunite for their 8th debut anniversary on August 8! The girl group will be hosting a private fansign event on the special occasion.

Blackpink to host fansign for 8th debut anniversary

On July 19, Blackpink’s label YG Entertainment announced that the group would be hosting a fansign event to celebrate their 8th debut anniversary on August 8. So, how can one enter the exclusive event? Firstly, the event is only for BLINK membership holders. To participate, fans need to share a post expressing their love for Blackpink on Weverse using the hashtag #OUR_AREA_WITH_BLINK between July 19 to July 26.

“88 participants who best express their love for BLACKPINK through fan letters, drawings, photos or stories about their precious memories with BLACKPINK will be invited to the fansign,” YG Entertainment shared. The winners will be announced on July 31. Details regarding the specific time and location of the fansign event will be individually communicated to the winners.

Blackpink will also be releasing the concert film BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] IN CINEMAS on August 31 to commemorate their 8th debut anniversary celebrations. The film will be released in over 110 countries, making it the most widely screened concert film by a girl group.

On the work front

All four members of Blackpink have been booked and busy with individual schedules. Jisoo recently wrapped up filming for her comeback K-drama Influenza and debut film Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. While Jennie has released collabs with Zico and Matt Champion, Lisa made her comeback with ROCKSTAR in June. As for Rosé, the Gone singer recently signed a contract with THE BLACK LABEL. She has been teasing new music and other projects.
