Khloé Kardashian Doesn’t Think She’s Going to Be ‘Chill’ When Daughter True Starts to Date

Khloé Kardashian Doesn’t Think She’s Going to Be ‘Chill’ When Daughter True Starts to Date — Unlike Mom Kris Jenner

“I’m always like, ‘What would Kris Jenner do?’ ” Kardashian said

When it comes time for her kids to start dating, Khloé Kardashian isn’t sure she’s going to handle it well.

On this week’s episode of her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, the Good American co-founder spoke with family law attorney Laura Wasser about the potential of her two kids — daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2, whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson — dating in the future.

“My parents are the same way. They were super chill. I don’t think I’m going to be like that and I want to be. I’m always like, ‘What would Kris Jenner do?’ ” Kardashian said.

“You’re gonna be like your mom,” Wasser responded, prompting Kardashian to add, “I pray so.”

Wasser went on to say that it’s hard not to take after your own mother, especially one that you respect and are so close to. Although she noted that the mom of two might be a little more “protective” than her sisters, Wasser said she was pretty sure Kardashian would end up like Jenner.

“I hope so. Because I’m always like, ‘How did she let go?’ I know True’s 6½…” Kardashian continued.

“She hasn’t totally let go,” Wasser explained of Jenner. “You and I and she have had some conversations in the last couple years in the morning.”

“But I love those types of holding on,” Kardashian said. “But when you’re 15 and dating someone, you see the car crash about to happen. I would be like, ‘Get the f— away from this douche.’ Where my mom was like, ‘It’s okay.’ I don’t know what…the tequila, the vodka.”

In an earlier episode of her podcast, Kardashian spoke about childhood trauma, noting that although her two kids have great lives, it’s likely that they’ll still have some kind of trauma to work through when they get older.

“We all have trauma. Whether it be big, or small. I always joke, I’m like, ‘Well my kids better not talk about childhood trauma because they have the best freaking lives,’ ” Kardashian said in the podcast.

“And they do! But it’s going to happen. It’s the inevitable,” she added.
