The Bold and the Beautiful Recap May 14: Steffy Begs Ridge Not To Choose Brooke, Dylan Works With Daphne
In today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap, the Forrester power struggle intensifies as Ridge and Steffy deal with Brooke’s request to step down as co-CEO. Steffy desperately pleads with her father not to choose Brooke, while Hope eagerly awaits news that could revive her HFTF line. Meanwhile, Dylan starts her new job working with Daphne.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap May 14
At Brooke’s, Hope and Brooke continued discussing how Ridge was at Forrester, telling Steffy to step down so Brooke could have her job. Hope knew that Steffy wouldn’t go down without a fight, while Brooke was sure Ridge could convince Steffy to do the right thing.
Spencers Await Forrester News
At Spencer, Liam told Katie and Bill that it seemed like a real possibility that Steffy would be replaced by Brooke, but Bill didn’t believe it. Katie could see that Brooke just wanted the same title as Katie.
Later, Hope came to see Liam and told him that they were waiting to hear from Ridge on how it went with Steffy. She still believed there was a good chance that her mom would be named co-CEO, and she could get her line going.
Hope told Liam that she knew the potential for her at Logan, but she built HFTF from the start, and if there was a chance for it to continue so she could see it through, she wanted to do that.
Dylan’s New Job
At Forrester, Daphne showed Dylan the ropes about the fragrance line in the design office. Dylan said how amazed she was that she was even there, and the only thing that could make life better was having her friendship with Electra back.
As Dylan went on about how Electra was such a great friend and how much she missed her, Electra appeared in the doorway and overheard. Daphne left so the two could talk.
Steffy and Ridge Discuss Brooke’s Request
Across the hall, Steffy told Ridge all of the things she’d been doing and wanted for the company. He repeated that she was amazing at her job and that it wasn’t about her doing a bad job, it was just about what Brooke decided she wanted.
Steffy pleaded with her dad to give Brooke whatever title she wanted, and let her take the spotlight however she wanted it. “Please do not choose Brooke over your daughter,” she asked.
Ridge went home to see Brooke, who was anxiously waiting. She wanted to know if he did as she asked and told Steffy to step down.
