Sami Zayn could find himself in the Bloodline drama following Roman Reigns’ return at WWE SummerSlam, where he attacked Solo Sikoa. The OTC cost his former Tribal Heir the Undisputed WWE Championship, evidently wanting to reclaim his Tribal Chief tag. He might need help amid a likely stable war but could struggle to get Zayn on board.
Over the past four years, the Head of the Table has made many enemies, including Kevin Owens. The Prizefighter is Sami Zayn’s best friend, and fans won’t need reminding of the rivalry they and the Usos were embroiled in. The Underdog from the Underground would be going against his friend’s wishes by reuniting with The Bloodline.
KO and Zayn are longtime friends and foes, which came to a head at the height of the latter’s spell in Reigns’ stable. He took out his former tag team partner with a Helluva Kick at Survivor Series 2022 in WarGames. They argued post-PLE until the Royal Rumble when the Canadian star finally turned on The Tribal Chief and The Usos.
Sami Zayn struck Roman Reigns with a steel chair and was subsequently beaten down but joined KO’s side. They re-aligned and won the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship from the Usos at WrestleMania 39.
Thus, if Sami Zayn is open to a Bloodline reunion, he risks upsetting Owens, who’s made it abundantly clear he hates Reigns. We saw this on WWE SmackDown last week (August 9) when he furiously insisted the former champ shouldn’t get a rematch against Cody Rhodes.
If Roman Reigns declares Bloodline War against Solo Sikoa and his group, he will have an uphill battle to get his former stablemates back together. The OTC might have some apologizing to do on the upcoming shows.
How do the other original members stand with Roman Reigns amid Bloodline war with Solo Sikoa’s group?
Roman Reigns might have just as much trouble trying to convince Jey Uso to rejoin the Bloodline as he will Sami Zayn. Main Event Jey fell out with his former Tribal Chief, leading to a loss in a grudge match at SummerSlam 2023.
Jey’s brother Jimmy attacked and cost him the match, leading to him eventually feuding with his twin and beating him at WrestleMania XL. He still has many issues with Reigns and Co. that will need attending for a reunion.
There won’t be any problem for Jimmy to reconcile with Reigns, given he was the last one by his side. He stood by him at ‘Mania and was, unfortunately, the victim of Solo Sikoa’s tyrannical takeover of the Bloodline.
Jimmy Uso will undoubtedly be by the Head of the Table’s side. Paul Heyman will follow suit and be out revenge after a shocking attack from Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu a month ago.
