Singer Lisa of the Korean idol group Blackpink continues to stir up the Korean entertainment market when she was invited to be the cover girl of Vogue magazine, October 2024 issue in the land of Korea.
Blackpink’s Lisa is on the cover of Vogue Korea October 2024 issue in designs from the Louis Vuitton brand that Lisa is an ambassador for.
Blackpink’s Lisa’s “Rockstar” is the longest-charting MV by a K-Pop solo artist on YouTube’s Global Daily Top MV Chart. “Blackpink’s Lisa’s “Rockstar” is back with new records. After an impressive debut at No. 1 on YouTube’s Global Daily Music Videos Chart, Lisa’s “Rockstar” has stayed on the chart for 67 consecutive days. This achievement allows Lisa’s song to surpass Zico’s “SPOT!” (58 days on the Top 100 Chart) to become the longest-charting video by a K-Pop solo artist on YouTube’s Global Daily Music Videos Chart.
“Rockstar” is still on this list and according to Korean music experts, this song can last until the end of 2024 if it continues to achieve the current large number of views. Previously, from the release date of June 28 to July 12, 2024, Lisa Blackpink’s MV Rockstar surpassed 100 million views on YouTube. Thanks to that, Lisa Blackpink has pocketed the third MV to surpass 100 million views. Although Rockstar’s achievement at that time was inferior to Lalisa’s, it still helped Lisa increase her appeal to the audience.
In June and July 2021, Lisa Blackpink was the first Asian artist to appear on 5 Vogue editions in Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand and Taiwan.
