Las Vegas Aces move Indiana Fever, Caitlin Clark date inside T-Mobile Arena

The demand to see Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever remains great.

As a result of the demand, the Las Vegas Aces have moved their Tuesday date against the Fever inside T-Mobile Arena. It’s simple supply and demand at work in the WNBA.

The Aces typically play their home games inside Michelob ULTRA Arena. That’s where the first matchup of the season between the Fever and Aces took place in front of a sellout crowd of 10,399 fans.

Thanks to the demand to see Clark, though, the Aces decided to shift the scene over to T-Mobile Arena where the seating capacity for basketball games is 18,000.

The Fever enter after a comeback victory over the Phoenix Mercury. Despite falling behind 17-4 early and trailing by as many as 15 points in the second half, the Fever rallied and secured an 88-82 victory.

Clark nearly tallied her first career WNBA triple-double, finishing with 15 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds in the win for the Fever. However, Clark will want to improve upon her 4-for-14 shooting day, including just 2-of-10 shooting from 3-point range.

Forward Aliyah Boston added 17 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the win for the Fever, while guard Kelsey Mitchell added 16 points and knocked down a trio of 3-pointers.

Meanwhile, the Aces come into the contest winners of four straight. Las Vegas is the two-time defending WNBA champions and the Aces topped the Fever 99-80 on May 26.

It also represents the second career matchup between Clark and former Iowa teammate Kate Martin.
